A Universal Studios Japan holiday planning group member Jack White VIP Tour experience.

I know the English guided VIP Tour hasn’t been spoken about much but from my visit today I can hopefully provide useful information for you all. I went on the 3pm tour.
I decided to arrive at 9am as I wasn’t sure if you could enter & go to different areas before reporting back to the vip area or whether you aren’t allowed to enter the park until Tour time.
After about 15 minutes of back and forth translation I can confirm that for Afternoon tours you ARE allowed to enter early before checking in at the lounge inside before it starts.
Also be aware that power up bands may have increased in price as it cost me ¥4900 to obtain a Yoshi band from check in area where I was under the impression that it’s 3800.
Minions, Jaws, Yoshi & Mariokart we entered from the back (exit) via a path that isn’t accessible to the general public so the group was on it almost straight away.
Our Tour guide was very lovely, moved at a comfortable pace & even assisted with taking photos. You are also given an ear piece so you’re able to hear about fun facts about where your going and history of the rides we go on. (Have attached what it looks like)
The tour ends within SNW so you can do whatever activities you want to do but if it’s your first time at USJ like myself today, really soak in the atmosphere because I gotta admit I got a flashback to my childhood and it brought back so many happy memories.

Jack (the author of this post) used the vip entrance to enter the park before his tour and was given an info pack which includes the express passes you can use beforehand. (1 green 2 yellow, included) and bought power up bands at the reception area too.
